How the Match Centre works
The Match Centre brings the current Premier League schedule, team context, pre-match analysis and verified final records into one place. This guide explains what each part means, what can change and what stays fixed.
Missing information is labelled as unavailable. The guide does not infer unavailable football facts.
Use the Contact page with the relevant match or page and an authoritative supporting source.
Start with the official fixture identity
Every current fixture is identified with the provider match ID and provider gameweek. The site does not guess a matchweek by looking at the date, which matters when a round is split by postponements or television scheduling.
The Matchweek Hub is the quickest overview of the current round. It uses the same current fixture source as the Match Centre and refreshes while open. A completed fixture shows only a verified final score; a forecast never becomes a result by itself.
Read context as context, not certainty
A fixture view can combine current form, recent results, home or away context, availability information and supported player data. These inputs help describe the state of a fixture, but they cannot guarantee an outcome.
Availability is deliberately cautious. When a source does not provide a verified conclusion, the page shows the information as unavailable rather than treating the absence of data as a clean bill of health.
What happens to a prediction
Pre-match analysis can refresh while a fixture is still outside its lock window. Ten minutes before the official kick-off, the complete snapshot is written to the durable results ledger and becomes immutable.
The stored snapshot can include the selected outcome or double chance, probabilities, expected score, confidence and supported player or set-piece panels. After kick-off, the site does not rerun the model to make a prediction appear better in hindsight.
How results are assessed
Results compares the verified final score with the frozen pre-match record. Double-chance selections are evaluated against either permitted outcome. The result page preserves the original prediction display beside the verified outcome where a lock exists.
Some older completed matches have a final score but no surviving authentic pre-match snapshot. They remain visible as score records and are clearly labelled No locked prediction. They are excluded from accuracy rather than being counted as incorrect.
Read the guide, then check the current data
Current football information
For an actual fixture, current form or final score, use the linked live tool. This guide explains the method; it does not replace current provider data.
Limitations matter
Schedules can change, player data can be unavailable and a forecast can be wrong. Read the status label on the relevant live page before relying on any information.
