Waiver Arena · seeded fantasy tools

Private fantasy football Waiver Arena games

Choose four to ten teams, enter names as commissioner or invite players to claim one unique team each. Seal only when the roster is complete, then share the server-synchronised seeded fantasy results room.

Commissioner setup

Enter teams yourself

Choose a four-to-ten-team room and enter every team name directly. Unique commissioner-entered teams are ready straight away, without creating a player account for each name.

Player setup

Invite players to claim

Leave a slot open and send its private one-time invitation. A player creates an account or signs in, then claims one unique team in that game.

Mixed setup

Use both when it suits your group

Combine commissioner-entered teams and player claims. The host can amend a draft or adjust its team count before seal, subject to protecting teams that are already ready.

How fair Waiver draws work
From roster to final order

One completed roster. One sealed fantasy event.

  1. 1The host chooses a room size, start time and reveal pace.
  2. 2Every team is entered manually or claimed through a private invitation. Names cannot repeat.
  3. 3The host seals only when every slot is ready. The server fixes the draw and deterministic fantasy competition seed.
  4. 4The group shares the game room for timed draw reveals, league results, play-offs and its final result-derived waiver order.

Private by default

Player email addresses are not displayed to other players. Shared links open the game room, while private host and invitation routes require their normal account or invitation checks.

Server-run timing

The draw and fantasy results service use the event’s server time. The room keeps future outcomes hidden until their programmed reveal stage.

Play at your pace

The host sets draw and results pace. Knock-out playback includes staged extra time and penalty holds so late goals and shoot-outs remain visible before the game advances.

Start with a guide

Choose the room size that fits your group, then move into the private host console when everyone is ready to set up.

Questions

Waiver draw FAQs

Is Waiver Arena real football?

No. Waiver Arena is a clearly labelled seeded fantasy simulation. It does not present its scores, tables or results as real football data.

Does the Order Generator save my teams?

No. It runs in your browser. Team names and the generated order are not posted to The Magic Sponge.

Can a commissioner create a hosted event?

Yes. A commissioner can choose four to ten teams, enter names manually and/or send private invitations to players. Each team name must be unique and the room cannot be sealed until every slot is ready.

Does this offer paid contests or prizes?

No. These pages provide fantasy-league administration tools only. No paid entry, prize or gambling mechanic is enabled.
